Wow. There's so much going on in this story, but it all feels so major! Paul feels like Hamlet to me; an acquired awareness that is just so so confounding. I'm really sad to say goodbye to Him. I will weep like a baby watching Denis adapt this on screen.

I'll have to sit with this one for a while; but it's melancholic, philosophical, and so reaffirming of life, too! Review to come soon...

plans within plans, schemes within schemes; this book is just so, so sad.

Ok so basically my final project is to adapt this into a screenplay (in anticipation of the real one next year) but all that is happening in this book are a bunch of scheming conversations, Paul calling Hitler a pussy for his (in comparison) low kill count, and siblings thinking about having sex with each other. I am, however, super excited to see the Face Dancers on screen (played by RPat, nonetheless!!)
