“The dinosaur fuel gets all the attention, but their day is done. As Sheik Yamani said in 1973 in the first oil shock, ‘The Stone Age did not end because we ran out of stones, but because we found something better.’”

“Rulers feel that they know what is right and what needs to be done in their domain, and see no need to compromise, to consult, to listen or to consider other opinions, all of which are essential elements of the toolkit of those who govern democratically. “This is a book about how to fix what is wrong, rescue democracy from hyper-partisan politics, and put Canada, and the world, on the path to a secure, post-carbon economy. We have a lot of the right stuff to make it work. But no politician is going to be adequate to the task. There is a leadership vacuum. I invite you—I invite all of us—to fill it.”

I am happy you notice it is good reading. Things that are well written and important, like "Energy Medicine" by Donna Eden, go by like storybooks.
