The action picks up more towards the end, the main character stay insufferable though

Ugh, okay, that’s good to know. I had high hopes but he’s getting on my nerves, haha
Someone told me to read it like he is probably making it all up to sound impressive which helped a bit 🤷🏼♀️😂
