Jasmine I'm happy for you! It'll definitely make you a even more professional reader and also make the reading experience more enjoyable. :) What's the difference between this and the Kindle ebooks that we can buy? Does the device already store the books you want to read? Or do you still have to buy the ebooks? (Stupid question, I know, but I'm always confused about it!)

haha so true! I suppose the Kindle is just specifically made for an optimal ebook reading experience. It's got everything you need in the once place:

-> Direct access to both Amazon and Goodreads. Check.
-> Ability to adjust the lighting. Check. (Which is the best thing ever since I can read it out in the sun and actually see what I'm reading now compared to reading on the kindle apps on my various apple devices where the sun just blinds the screen.
-> The perfect size for reading (so you can read everywhere and every position is comfortable and you can lug it easily around everywhere too).

(To name a few pros :P).

So it links up to your amazon account, and therefore, you've got access to all the books you've bought already on that account. You can just download them again from your cloud onto the kindle device. But if you want more, you do need to buy them, it doesn't just store all the books you want to read (haha IF ONLY).

Although, if you've got other ebooks or MOBI documents on your laptop you can send them to your kindle as well (i.e. I've got an app on my mac which allows me to send files directly to my kindle - which is super handy since I don't always buy them from amazon).

(And not a stupid question at all).

I think I've answered them all :)
