As a mood reader who is not enjoying anything I choose for myself rn, I wish I could just type “trashy” into Audible or Kindle and have the right suggestions come up, like Netflix. I’ve tried it but the recommendations never end up actually being enjoyable or popular.

Top Goodreads list suggestion was Flowers in the Attic, trigger warnings of incest. So I should clarify, not that kind of trashy 😂😂

Thankfully, Flowers in the Attic doesn't actually have sexy times incest scenes, and there is a reason (justified, given the circumstances, but still eww) for the incest. It's basically a trashy gothic soap opera. Kind of like all V.C. Andrews books. Have you tried 'why-choose.com'? They have lots and lots of tags, maybe that would help?
Maybe justified is the wrong word... 'understandable' is what I meant.
