Nathaniel Fun fact! That was very common during the 50s so when this book is set …. Ish. In houses isolated it hadn’t come yet vs big towns that had it for ages. In sweden some houses in the outskirts still don’t have electricity but its really uncommon now

That's interesting! I haven't thought of that... one less aspect to be mad about LOL (the rest of the worldbuilding is still meh at best
