DNF. It's been on my bedside table for 2 years and I picked it up tonight because I paid money for this book at a next gen conference so many years ago, I have to read it, right? But then I got to this sentence: "[feminists] have brought about an enormous change in women's fashion, resulting in many women looking like soldiers in Mao's army!"
Nope. I give up. This author and her pearl-clutching are going in the bin.

Yeah it's really awkward that these books are still spoken of so highly. 😬Also I firmly believe this was ghostwritten by Ken Hughes but used his wife's name to make it more appealing
