wildly annoyed by how she keeps saying (paraphrase) "straightness behaved like this in the middle ages (so edward ii wasn't necessarily gay)" without considering or digging into how queerness looked in the time period. it comes across as defensive

(insofar as "queerness" as a concept can be considered applicable to the 14th century etc etc)
