Shado has been nursing Oliver back to health while also fending off Yakuza assassins.
Oliver explains why he sought the young woman then she tells of her Master who died so she could be free. Shado also tells Oliver that the Yakuza cannot leave her alive.
Oliver and Shado bond over archery and a dip in the ocean before they are attacked.
An old friend dies.

Deciding to stay with Shado, the pair arrive back to Honolulu, where they’re instantly spotted.
Shado knows they’re being followed so they both decide, instead of running, to confront the assassins in an empty warehouse.
The duo are victorious and after a bit of fibbing, Oliver unravels the plot laid out by Osbourne.
Oliver is going home to Dinah, without knowing Shado’s true name.

It’s Oliver’s birthday! Dinah takes him to the zoo, where they’re followed.
Osbourne wants Oli’s help in finding a map the Yakuza stole… that was stolen from them. They believe a woman with a dragon tattoo has it.
Osbourne sends Oliver to Hawaii where he gets a very good lead.
Too bad, after having to defend herself from assassin’s before, Shado shoots first.
Green Arrow is shot in the chest!

Oliver lies when Dinah asks if he still thinks about her.
Later, Oliver is woken up by dreams of Shado.
Because Shado killed all but one person on Yakuza’s list, they wanted her to chop off her own thumb.
Her Master would not allow this and sacrificed himself so she could flee.
