Some terrific material here - the self as illusory, the repetition of literary styles, the embedded stories a la Boccaccio, Calvino, the author sublimated as a gatherer and re-fashioner of other peoples stories. Not bad for someone who is my neighbour. I'm travelling with this one now Ive decided.
