this play does a great job at balancing a heavy subject with a light tone. at times it can feel a little too kooky but those moments are pretty short and you quickly get pulled back into the world of the play. usually not the biggest fan of a play about a play, it can easily get very lazy, but this one is unique enough that i don’t mind.
