It was immediately clear that this is a reimagining of Mary Shelley & the creation of “Frankenstein.”
1/2 of the dual timeline follows Mari Godwick (Mary Shelley), who leaves home at 19 to be w/ married Pierce Sheldon (Percy Shelley). They travel to a villa w/ Noel Gordon (Lord Byron) where Mari’s novel is written. The literary scene of the early 1800s has been traded for the 1970s rock scene. 5 stars so far!
