“Turn around,” he whispered. I did as I was told. It was hard enough to breathe, let alone put up a fight. His long, slender fingers slid through my hair, gently pulling the strands. I closed my eyes and tipped my head back, trying not to enjoy his close proximity. One step and I could nestle against his broad chest. His strong arms would wrap around me, and he’d kiss the top of my head, maybe murmur a sweet little something into my ear and make me feel like I could fly.
