I forget how much of this book takes place during, and immediately after, the sorcerer's convocation on the Island of Thanedd, and how early in the book all of this takes place.

I'm in my second read (listening to Peter Kenny's narration, while sometimes reading along via ebook), and like I felt regarding Blood of Elves, I am finding it more enjoyable than the previous read.
