he wants an annulment. she doesn't want to be married to him. but she won't give him an annulment because... she wants him to suffer??? I'm v confused. it seems best for both MCs if she agreed to the annulment and her reasoning is not sound. this is why I don't like enemies to lovers. their reason for being enemies is... not a real reason. it's too contrived.
