the Japanese fleet is returning and coming back to do more damage and take out oil fields. Washington DC has been notified and is sending a attack.

Bullets crashed down on the pavement, roofs, and cars were all affected.The wounded soldiers were getting treated at the hospitals it said it was the most people they have ever had to treat in a small time frame.

The Japanese have sunken the USS Arizona and the USS Oklahoma and more vessels were also sunk. More than 1100 people that were on the ships were burned alive by the scorching heat the the torpedos caused.

In chapter 7 The bombers from Japan attacked fort Island. The people living on the island seen that they were American painted and thought is was a drill but then the bombs hit the ground.

I think the theme of this book is that anything can happen at anytime. The author states that he was in a pop quiz when he seen at the top of page Pearl Harbor. He said that he had never heard the two words before when he later figured out that those words didn't need an explanation.
