I'm listening to this on hoopla. Set in 1300s England - historical fiction. I'm too cynical to do much more than eye-roll at the romance parts - but the book was written in the 1950s and it stays pretty tame, if melodramatic. I'm engaged in the story, though, especially because Katherine Swynford was a real person. She's a compelling female character from a time where the balance of power rested with the males.
