This is a fantastic book for those interested in WWII stories specifically about French Resistance in the wine country. Read about the takeover of Berchtesgaden, the climb to the Eagles' Nest and finding over half is a million stored fine rich wines. Just imagine 200 soldiers working several days bringing down that amount of wine bottles on medical stretchers. This book is a must read for anyone Who likes wine.
