The writing has me in a chokehold

So so beautifully written and as almost always I have chosen a long book. Going to sit and read for over an hour now because I NEED TO KNOWWWWW

I feel like I’m reading mythology from the perspective of the unfortunate. It’s a very particular feeling. This isn’t mythology though, it’s fantasy. So for it to evoke such importance in the reader is something only brilliant brilliant writing can do. I find myself believing all of this is real, and yet so far I hope it’s not. Very very early into the book, looking forward to how this unfolds.
