Brilliant so far. Hick's deconstruction of the Incarnation and fleshing out of the logical problems it presents is off to a good start. How can Jesus be fully God and fully man if he could be killed and if he did not know the time of His return? Personally I've not been convinced by answers to this question so I'll remain agnostic on the Incarnation. Jesus as Son is my position until convinced He was more.

I just finished The Metaphor of God Incarnate, Second Edition: Christology in a Pluralistic Age and gave it 5 stars. Hicks dismantles the Trinity with brutal efficiency, but there's still much that I disagree with him on.
