So far so good. I like the tension between Grendel and Bayo. She’s not sure if he’s really going to kill her, and that scares her. He isn’t sure what to think of her, she’s not like the vampires he was trained to kill. They’re on this adventure to close the mines and stop the slavers, the only way to save the humans. Will they work together and be some more than enemies, or will they fight to the death?
