So far, "A Tale for the Time Being" has been a riveting amalgam of existential explorations, divine wonderings, scientific explanations, dark obsessions, and the inevitably quotidian. It is bringing to my attention fascinating differences between American and Japanese cultures. It is stirring the hunger within me for knowledge of global language and how they all fit together.
