they call me dirtyhands...to all bookclub enjoyers! this is a great book to read aloud and for bookclub because it is uncomplicated in terms of syntax but interesting and silly. Favorite part so far has to be pronouncing all the frankly stupid and superfluous names my girl came up with. for example, gondel instead of gondola; jell instead of hell... you did not eat with this girl.

Helllo book club! Just finished chapter one with Jer and Annabelle he he. So far, liking the world building (okay adding random letters to real-world words to create new lore), and I like a port city...Joost is a terrible name, but great ammo for puns. I'm hoping he's the runaway with privileged past, as denoted on the back cover. Excited for a heist themed novel with lots of drama and magic. will keep updating.
