Fun fact: the act of breaking a text into chapters is called “capitulating” - which is incidentally what I feel like doing when Dames goes off onto yet another endlessly meandering digression.

(This book is actually very interesting! But it’s also just… a lot. Who knew there was so much to say about chapters?)
