I actually didn’t see any of that Michael & the Volkovs things coming. However, I found the kidnapping scene SO cliché. Now if someone asks, Alex Volkov is my #1 public enemy. What a fucking self-centered coward, you’re gonna be like "he just doesn’t want her to be hurt" how about he’s actually being realistic & objective or going to fucking therapy ? 💗💗

smut. FINALLY. well i’m not the one to look forward to sex in books, but i had heard that this book had a lot of embarrassing smut on it and i made it like a long way into the book without a scene, so i was impressed. i still enjoy this but i know where all the comments about the writing are coming from, this isn’t shakespeare. but it’s definitely not that bad. a lightweight book to enjoy and giggle about.

Alex’s trauma plotline is so basic but ig that’s what it takes to make a good grumpy x sunshine romance, right?

I’ve heard people degrading this book so much times that I didn’t expect it to actually be so fun and lightweight to read like ?? Okay, I haven’t gotten to the smut scenes yet. But this is funny and makes me giggle every 5 seconds, or is my humor broken? Whatever, I enjoyyy it.
