Been skimming through most of this to be honest! I dislike Cameron and don’t trust him. Also sick of the constant references to her and other things being “in his blood” and “in his cells”. Weird and repetitive.

Another thing weird about these books is prolific use of madam, miss and sir in everyday (non kinky) settings. This is New York present time. And it’s not just a character quirk, all the characters do it. Example was of barista, “ As madam swivels round and heads off to the machines opposite us to start preparing the drinks…”.

There is a difference between horror and dark fantasy romance, subtle nuance that it may be. This one is horror erotica if I were to categorize it.
