I’m wanting to love this book since I clearly work in psych. So I’m going to keep rolling! But I am starting to ask myself if I’ll enjoy the topic since it’s near and dear or if I’ll just be distracted by my own scrutiny!

Oh I know they did not just have that nurse say that she only hands out some meds and then reads for the rest of her shift 😂

Also. Can’t help it. Did that nurse just say she doesn’t know if anything in particular happens to the doors if they lose power?! Stop it right now.

Aw come on now we have a patient in seclusion and restraints who apparently is left completely alone?! With nobody observing for safety. Please tell me there are at least SOME examples in this book of reality. This is getting ridiculous 😩

Alright alright so I’ve resigned to the idea that part of the entertainment value in this reading experience will have to be in pointing out the blatant examples of absolutely zero research done. That’s just how this is going to go and I’m fine with it 😂

Just have to make a note while reading cause I can’t help myself. Did this author do any research?! If I hear the phrase “shock therapy” one more time I swear! But I am enjoying the book regardless.
