I’m quite liking this book, it’s reading in like a gruff newspaper reporter voice almost Dick Tracy-ish. The imagery is very 1950 sepia tones. I’m just hoping there’s no bury your gays moment, the protagonist, Nick has already stated his hatred of the trope.
