Also coming back to this 8 years after I first read it and listening to Donna Tartt’s intonations is so interesting bc Richard is so much more obviously such an unreliable narrator and it’s making me question so much. I so love rereading but I wasn’t in the right mood last time I tried.

I don’t normally do audiobooks bc I don’t like being read to, but I wanted something for a long drive which wasn’t music bc my family are listening to the radio, and none of the podcasts and I were vibing. I figured I’d probably only be able to do a text I know decently well anyway, and I knew if Donna Tartt herself was reading it it’d be good. And it is so far!
