PKD is possessed by a small cosmic voice that is actually Asklepios, the Greek god of medicine, who is really the bishop Jim Pike, because he drives funny now. This is obvious because he dreams about the classics in attic Greek, which he knows nothing about, except for that entire decade in his 20s when he was obsessed with classical philosophy. But that's beside the point. HE IS OBVIOUSLY POSSESSED.
