Tadgh having the courage to not only put a knife to that mans throat but also actually making him bleed is incredible. Joey telling him to chill is crazy to me bc after all the years that man has tortured those kids he has earned every blood drop that comes out of the wound tadgh made. Could never imagine making that decision as a child. The trauma these kids have is insane

Shannon sticking up to her mother is lovely to read bc pushing one of the 2 good people in shannons life is crazy.
How can the mother understand that Johnny put shannon in the hospital but when that damn husband of hers does it she’s suddenly doesn’t understand English or how to read a sentence. I need the mother to stop saying sorry and crying
