Interesting so far:
- Claim: Cognitive biases highlighted by behavioral economics are compatible with rational actor theory; i.e. people are pursuing rational aims ineffectually.
- Claim: An NGO might be able to make the world better if they’re legally allowed to sell illegal ivory they’ve seized. But reduced supply from low prices might be offset by increased demand from low prices that drive prices back up.
