I'm actively rooting for the FL to leave him and never come back. I've never disliked a hero so strongly, and that includes heroes of classic bodice rippers.
I hate that he is so angry at the FL for not trusting him and getting the red envelope out when he's been lying to her from the very beginning and keeping her in the dark about her father's true character when the man is using her for his own gain.
