It was hard to get used to the second-person narrative but when I did, I loved the poetic writing in this book. I particularly enjoyed being able to relate to all of the references to the black arts like music, films etc. He mentioned Kendrick, he mentioned films like Boyz in the Hood. I grew up like this so it was great to relate to two young brown people living in the UK. It tackles a lot of racial issues in the UK
