For a book about King Arthur, I didn't expect it to feature so much Cricket, especially players from the 19th century. Nor did I expect allusions to Hitler, torture and child death, or so much Latin and French.

This book is almost nothing like what I expected, and I didn't enjoy much of it. The first book was repetitive (Merlin, I want to be an animal. Okay, Wart, what did you learn? on repeat).
