Issue #3 -
Marnie continues to try to get more information about Floyd’s past.
She finally gets some answers when Mr Lawton’s butler speaks briefly with her.
Floyd loved his brother Edward. Mrs Lawton may have hired someone to shoot her husband.
Deadshot was too late. Wes had his way with Eddie and the poor young child died.
Floyd will kill everyone involved…including his mum!

Can feel the difference between these older comics and the 80s ones!
Deadshot was a lot more talkative and boasted more than shot.
DC #518 -
A lot of plot and little Deadshot.
When he did appear, he was more like how we see him in Suicide Squad.
Definitely not necessary reads, especially because neither show a very good transition between his more silly side to the serious assassin.

Marnie breaks into Mrs Lawton’s home to get some answers.
Deadshot arrives soon after to reveal what really happened.
Mrs L tried turning Floyd and his bro Ed against their father. It worked for the elder son.
Ed shot their dad. Floyd tried shooting his arm to stop him. It didn’t quite work out.
For all she’s done, Floyd decides his Ma’s fate should be the same as her husband's.

This takes a decidedly darker turn when Floyd’s ex wife tells him their son has been kidnapped.
One of the kidnappers seems a little too interested in the young boy…
Attorney Schale is Deadshot’s first visit. He sends a message that Schale and who he’s working for are playing a game with the wrong man.
Marnie learns Floyd had a brother and the Sheriff of his home town thinks DS killed him…

Deadshot is on a mission for Task Force X. Meanwhile his therapist goes over Lawton’s history and what she thinks may be some underlying issues.
Marnie is removed as Lawton’s therapist (bc they kissed) while Deadshot settles an old score and completes the mission.
Floyd receives a note then walks out of Belle Reve.
