I can't tell you that. In fact, I almost DNF'd it at around 20%, but I wanted to find out how it ended, so I went to the end and read the last chapter. And when that didn't tell me what I wanted to know, I read the chapter before that, and so on, until I was back where I wanted to DNF the book. So I've never actually read the book properly. But I was so invested in a couple of the characters that I read the two sequels, if that tells you anything.
