This is a page-turner, I'd say, rather than a thriller. Mr. Sam has produced a cracking good story whose only drawback is the repeated precise descriptions of what each character is wearing. There's even a reference to the main female character donning skin-tight jeans, then walking demurely in an airport. I'd read another of his books, but hope he'll restrain his excruciatinly detailed clothing remarks.
