I've read worse things in Murakami books, and hence I have stopped reading his books. But I know friends who are diehard fans of him. So if you like his writing, ignore the haters. Read for yourself. :)

I know what you are talking about. The thing is i love his writing style thats why now and then i end up picking some book by him but when it comes to.writing intimate scenes or even well behaved man you dont want to read him anymore.

He uses the same theme again and again. The main character will have an affair with a woman with kids. How many times can you use this? And yeah, women will go crazy for a bald guy. The same thing I have read in three books and let's leave the women characters out, because according to Murakami if a woman doesn't have good bell-shaped breasts ( whatever that is )she can't be in his books. Not possible. And all of his character when they meet someone for the first time all they can think about is how they will feel with another person in bed. Same thing again and again and again. It's irritating now. But am I going to read his books? Yes

Just have to ignore him being sexist. I just read this scene where a woman touches the man and the man is thinking about how his hand will feel on his body(I am being polite here, what he writes is even more insane). But that's something. Can I find one character in his book who is not a sex freak? Is it too much to ask? 

Well, everything said, let me complete this book, because if we are not a bit hypocritical sometimes, are we even human?
