I just finished Accompanied by the Instruments of David: Examining Excuses for Instrumental Music in Worship and gave it 4 stars.Dr. Imel gives a very easy to read, understandable approach to why instrumental music is not authorized, nor can be seen present in New Testament example. He also covers many of the age-old arguments including instruments in OT times, in Heaven, and as expedients.
