4.5/5 Reconsecration - Nice. 'Nother good one, Sisters relieving an imperial world of its citizens strayed from their path, but to uncover a nasty surprise.

5/5 The Last Word - A nice little Deathwatch strike, narrated at a brisk pace and with a "spin-off" of its own. Established the context swiftly without failing to build up suspense. Action helps too, I guess, but even that was packed with diversity and the outcome wasn't clear at any point.

Suffer Not A Human To Live 2/5 - spacebar whodunnit, navigator turned psyker turned investigator in between jobs and the murderer pretty obvious from the start. Too many unusual things for the 40k with no real surprises. Too short to have any effect.

Knife's edge - 2/5 blunt story, little creativity for assassins.

Fidelis Ad Mortem - 4/5 very good style and writing technique, but lacking in plot. I look forward to reading more from Jude Reid.

Blighted Sun - 3/5, story is somewhat jumbled, otherwise good.
