Intrigued ! What are your thoughts so far ?

As a therapist I've enjoyed it so far! It's amusing seeing tidbits of Yalom's therapeutic wisdom sprinkled throughout the book, even with it being fiction. Not sure I would have picked up on some of those without having read some of his prior work, though

I also appreciate how he constructed the sections depicting the dialogue between Nietzsche and Breuer - his detailed writing captures how skilled therapists' (one which I hope to be someday lol) are astute at analyzing both the content and process and subsequently make split-second decisions about whether it's something to follow, pocket for the future, point out a contradiction, etc. Very interested to see where it goes!
