I am a shameful fan of a nice Menelaus, but I do enjoy what a rat fucking bastard he is in this book.

I love Claire North's version of Peleus and Thetis's wedding, but I'm also working on the assumption that this Aphrodite is equally much shrewder and less vapid than she's usually portrayed, and absolutely covering her ass. It's a fun take on the character.

Claire North is Aphrodite's best publicist. She is a DELIGHT.

I love what Claire North is doing with Menelaus. What a charming piece of absolute shit.
