JFC this threw a patricide, an attempted murder, and a pact to take down a noble House with the bastard daughter of said House and a mysterious nobleman who agrees to help her murder her way through a space jousting tournament to do so, all in the first 30 pages.

Why did this book come out swinging SO hard like this???
