Oh man, im so excited to see how this all ends. Looks like the MC will have to face her tyrannical cousin in a contest, and this contest is basically walking in the valley of death to find the world tree. Only with an obsidian dagger but itll have to wait till tomorrow I guesssss

Im really having fun with the little bit of spooky that's splashed into this fun adventure. The MC has that rebellious and sassy streak to her that i can't help but enjoy. Little bit a romance is meh to me, but I like where the story is going.

Imagine going on an adventure with the God of Death and being a woman who was a servant to her own douche bag family, mainly the men(of course). Such an interesting interaction between the two of them. Especially her being from a small town with no real knowledge of the world. I'm having a ton fo fun with this read.

I'm not gonna lie, I'm so giddy reading this book. The sense of adventure and the lore of the gods are so exciting. Getting to know a different pantheon is refreshing. Also, a quote I really like from the book is, "Folktales are full of such coincidences that are never coincidences at all, but brittle games of powerful forces." Something about it tickles me the right way.
