ive been avoiding this book but my loan expires in 2 days so now im power reading. still corny as hell

the way i so desperately did not want joe and co. to come back from their mission or whatever. rico tanner and chris are literally the only people in this book who dont manipulate him so really theyre the only friends he needs.

guys this book fckn sucks. writing is bad, the way the wolves "talk" is so fckn dumb and im OVER the whole "im leaving u bc i love u" like girl shut up. everyone treats ox like shit and im over it

not far into this book but i have a lot of issues with it which makes me annoyed because 99.9% of reviews are so positive. pacing is so weird, writing style is kind of juvenile, the "relationship" between Joe and Ox is so nasty to me (a 10 year old imprinting on a 16 year old?? no thanks!!), and the characterization is just,,, bad. The sway the Bennett's have over Ox feels super manipulative. Am i giving up? never
