Story finally picked up but plot is not very surprising or unexpected, I find myself skipping through mellow romancey parts.

Folks, Im gonna be harsh.
Why do I feel like I am reading a 2nd draft of Divine Rivals.
Why am I reading the same story over again.
Honestly you know what, if first book started with this amnesia trope from 2nd, and us trying to figure out what happened to the MC, it wouldve been fine.
Writing the same story 2nd time around isnt.
