I was liking it until the part that presents the historical fallacy that the Aztec believed the Spaniards to be Quetzalcoatl returned as a historical fact. It's disappointing to read a book that rightfully so condemns how racist colonial thinking downplayed the achievements of pre-contact African Civilizations to then read something a few chapters later that was made up by racist colonial thinking as historical fact.
