I dislike Fiye as a protagonist, the author was trying to convey her loss in a way that would justify her action but she just comes off as finicky and unclear of her wants. description of her loss and the emotional languish did make me tearful but honestly it does not make any better. I do not feel invested in the characters and if anything I feel disgusted with Fiye’s behavior but I guess hurt people hurt people?
