The second part flew by.
The juxtaposition of Nothing Has Changed and Nothing Else Is The Same is beautiful.
Year Eleven is heartbreaking, because I knew exactly what Eleven And A Day would bring. So is Same Pot, and Circle. And reading about what happened with Ba's friend explained so much yet was so affronting.
But Blue Eyes brought me hope.
Favorite verse poems: Heart, Here To Stay, Big Mouth, Adjectives.

Part 3: I'm really enjoying this book. This section carried my emotionally deeper on more of a personal level than the previous two, where it felt more like I was looking thru a window.
Red Shirt and Split are so impactful, as is Personal Space. If-Then made me laugh, a barking surprised laugh. Wanderer broke my heart a little bit, in a good way. <3 Umbrella. Forgetting and Container are perfect Disney descriptors.

I've barely started this book, and I'm already in love.
So far, September 15 and Parallel Lines hit hardest, but in almost every verse poem there's been a line that makes me catch my breath.
